 A Light for Emilia Romagna is a project promoted by Consorzio Promovetro Murano through which four large glass historic Murano chandeliers belonging to the City of St. Augustine, in the Ferrarese, rocambolescamente survived, though seriously damaged to the May 2012 earthquake, have been recovered and restored. The project included the actions of rescue and safety measures and a major intervention by the Consortium companies and concessionaries of the Vetro Artistico® Murano trademark. It was an initiative of solidarity developed for over three years , whose ultimate goals were the recovery of chandeliers , inmportant in terms of symbolic and emotional value for Emilia Romagna and his citizenship

The result of the restoration process was presented in an exhibition, from 22 January to 28 February 2016 at the Museum of Glass in Murano , in collaboration with MIBACT , Foundation of Venice Civic Museums and the City Sant’Agostino , with the sponsorship of Veneto Region, Emilia Romagna Region, the Province of Venice, Province of Ferrara, City of Venice, FAI, Ca ‘ Foscari University of Venice, and the support of the Chamber of Commerce of Venice.
