A press conference presenting the new Vetro Artistico® Murano traceable label Took place this morning at 12:00 in Venice at Palazzo Balbi, headquarters of the Region of Veneto Council. The new Vetro Artistico® Murano trademark is born to protect the customer about originality of the Murano glass artifacts and the customers.

The mark, realized with the most recent technologies, will allow the user to track, with smartphones, tablets and PCs, the entire history of the product, reconstructing its creation.
It is a true identity card of the artifact, which guarantees the originality, uniqueness and value of its the creative process.

The project was carried out by the Consortium Promovetro Murano with the support of the Veneto Region and the Chamber of Commerce of Venice ans its lagoon.

The new traceabe sticker is born after a long process of research and replaces the previous mark that, although equipped with anti-counterfeiting systems, did not provide information on the object glass and the company who realised it.

The press conference was attended by the Deputy Mayor for Economic Development and Energy of the Veneto Region Roberto Marcato, the President of the Consortium Promovetro Luciano Gambaro and the General Secretary of the Chamber of Commerce and its lagoon Roberto Crosta. Absent of the last hour the Deputy Minister Enrico Zanetti called to Rome because of the recent events that led to the output of Great Britain by the European Union.
