The call or artist of EGE – European Glass Project, has been released!

EGE – European Glass Experience a project starting from a intuition of Promovetro and developed together with the City of Venice and some of the most important glass museums of Europe, has become truth, and it is now fully operative.

 

EGE is a contest for glass artworks and sketches for future artworks created by young artists and designers under 40 from all over Europe.

 

EGE will become three exhibitions held at The Finnish Glass Museum in Riihimaki (Finland), at the Glass Museum in Segovia (Spain), and at the Murano Glass Museum; a total 40 glass artworks will be exposed together with 80 sketches for future artworks selected by all participants. The best 20 sketches will be later realised by the Murano Glass Masters, to be exposed in the final exhibition in Murano.
