It has just finished the 83rd Florence International Artisan Fair at Fortezza da Basso in Florence, from the 24th April till 1st May 2019, 8 days full of quality exhibitions, events and seminars, a global art and crafts village from different cultures taking shape along an itinerary presenting handicrafts from Italy and the world.


At Cavaniglia Pavilion visitors could discover the quality, excellence and originality of the traditional art of Murano glass and fascinating live craftsmanship of Muranese artisans.


Murano was perfectly represented by Barbini Specchi Veneziani, Esse2 Murano and Tiozzo Sergio di Claudio Tiozzo which showed to the public their craft techniques and original processes: the art of glass engraving and the production of antique and modern Venetian mirrors of Barbini Specchi Veneziani, the Venetian glass beads of Esse2 Murano and the murrino glass of Tiozzo Sergio di Claudio Tiozzo.
