Vetreria Artistica Effe

Since its origins in 1982, the glassworks has always produced articles of the highest artistic quality, thanks to the active involvement of glassmaker Walter Furlan, who founded the Effe glassworks, and to his son Mario’s collaboration. While still very young, the founder learned the trade at the furnaces of top glassmakers in the 50s and 60s. After rapidly becoming the “first master of chandeliers”, he became interested in sculpture, and soon found creative space to express himself in this field, working with Angelo Seguso and the designer Mario Pinsoni, and specialising in “submersed” and stylised glass techniques. Now the glassworks boasts a vast collection of solid glass sculptures.
